Daniel was born and raised in Houston and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in finance. After a couple of years in banking, Daniel joined GBC's staff in 2012, later finishing seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary in 2017. He has been married to his wife, Kelsey, since 2011, and they have four children, Charlie, Margaret, Elizabeth, and William.
