Our mission is to help ease the resettlement process for refugees coming to Houston by mobilizing invested, caring volunteers, fostering hope amidst crisis. Ways to get involved include:

1. Serving with our Starting Essentials program - Volunteers ensure refugees receive the essential items needed to rebuild their lives through donating Welcome Kits, volunteering at a Welcome Kit Drive, and delivering Groceries and Welcome Kit Deliveries.

2. Volunteering in our Friendship program - Welcome Teams offer warm, consistent presence that honors refugees as neighbors and friends.

3. Giving financially - One's generosity allows us to faithfully serve the refugee community of Houston.

Take the first step of serving alongside HWR by attending an upcoming orientation.
