LEAH TOWNSEND

Leah moved to Houston in 2014, where she got a degree at Houston Christian University. During her sophomore year, God used a woman on staff with Campus Outreach to interrupt Leah’s life with the gospel. She quickly became zealous with God’s Word and her God-given purpose to go and make disciples. Leah’s vision for ministry is for women from every nation to turn from their sin and chase after God. She wants to be a part of God interrupting people’s lives in Brisbane, Australia just as He interrupted her life. She is the women’s coordinator in Brisbane, and will be spending most of her time teaching and training Australian women in how to do ministry as well as spending time on campus meeting and developing relationships with Australian students as well as international students. Her hope and prayer is that God would use her to raise up the next generation of labourers in Australia.

Ways to Pray 

• Please pray for deep relationships to be formed with students in Australia despite any cultural or religious differences.
• Pray for God to soften the hearts of the students, so that they may be warm to Leah as well as the gospel.
• Pray doors would open for relationships with international students, Unreached people groups, and non-religious students.
• Pray that labourers would be raised up to strengthen the church in Australia.
• Pray for the Australia team, that we would walk faithfully with the Lord and ultimately be driven to compassion for those around us because of His love for us.
