A member of the church since 2006, Lunden and his wife, Brooke, have spent years investing in others through small groups and marriage mentoring. Every so often, he will also be on stage leading worship. A Houston native and Baylor University graduate, Lunden and Brooke have been married since 2012 years and are raising their three children, Reeves, Waite, Kimble, in Spring Valley—a neighborhood he'll happily argue is one of the best in America.
