NURSERY: 2 Months - 2 Years
At check-in, your child will be assigned to a class based on their age. Please make sure that all items are labeled with your child’s name (diapers, bottles, and cups/lids).
Only nursery workers and volunteers are allowed in the rooms for the child's protection and overall cleanliness. If we are feeding your child, please prepare the bottle in advance. We have Cheerios for children older than one year. However, please notify the nursery worker or volunteer if your child has food allergies.
During the service, we will make all attempts to soothe an upset child. We will text you if we are unable to console after 10 minutes of continuous crying, and we ask that you return to the nursery immediately. If you would like to return to the service, we have a cry room in the back of the sanctuary.
NURSING MOM ROOM
If you are a nursing mom, we have a dedicated room for you in the nursery hall. Feel free to use this room at any time.
NEW BABY TEAM
If you or someone in your small group has celebrated the birth or adoption of a child, please contact Hannah so we can put them in touch with our new baby team.
BABY DEDICATION
At GBC, we believe that believer's baptism is the biblically prescribed ordinance that symbolizes a person’s entry into the church body through faith in Christ. Baby dedications, like baptism, do not carry any saving merit for the child. Rather, they serve as a public declaration by the parents, acknowledging their role as their child’s primary disciplers. This ceremony is also an opportunity for the church to affirm our commitment to supporting, training, and equipping the parents from this dedication all the way through their child’s spiritual journey, so that their child will come to know and grow in the likeness of Christ.
If you are interested in dedicating your baby, please fill out this form.
PRESCHOOL: 2 Years - 5 Years
After graduating from the nursery, children between the ages of 2 and 5 are assigned to Sunday School classes by age. They will move up to the older class each August.
Our Sunday School curriculum is The Gospel Project. The three-year study covers both the Old and the New Testament, focusing on a different Bible story each week.
