At Plant With Purpose, we restore hope by reversing two of the world’s greatest challenges: global poverty and environmental damage. These problems are interconnected. Our goal is to see creation’s life-giving regenerative cycles restored and people renewed through their relationship with God, living in healthy sufficiency, and motivated to dream.

Plant With Purpose, a Christian nonprofit organization, reverses deforestation and poverty around the world by transforming the lives of those experiencing rural poverty. We partner with farmers, their families, and their local churches to strengthen relationships with God, promote economic and social development, and restore the land on which these farmers live. Our holistic model promotes sustainable development through community leadership, economic resilience, regenerative agriculture, and Creation care. We work in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Haiti, Malawi, Mexico, Tanzania, and Thailand. Globally, we currently work alongside 93,283 families, directly benefiting more than 526,233 children and adults. We have planted over 76 million trees, restoring watersheds through reforestation. Through our watershed model, our programs have the potential to benefit more than 1,334,300 individuals, both directly and indirectly. Partnering farmers are able to cut their level of poverty by 55% and experience 37% higher crop yields.
