A Houston native, Wes has always had a heart for learning, teaching, and serving others. After graduating from the University of Texas, he spent two years teaching middle school math in Brooklyn, New York, before returning to Texas and making GBC his church home in 2009. He joined the GBC staff in 2011, and a few years later, he and his wife, Maddie, began their marriage with an adventure across the pond, spending their first year together in Oxford, England, while Wes completed his MBA. Today, Wes and Maddie are raising their four children—Finn, Davis, Ford, and Helen—and continue to enjoy being part of the GBC community.
