The Living Room has been used for luncheons, Christmas parties, fundraisers, meetings, dinners, and so much more! We recommend a maximum capacity around 100 people. This room is unavailable for reservations on Sunday.
What it has:
- 5 tables with 8 chairs each, along with additional couches and chairs
- Additional tables and chairs that can be pulled in
- Projector and screen (please see "Helpful Tips" below about projector troubleshooting)
- Microphone
- Large Kitchen area for serving food
- Warmers
- Patio area outside
What it doesn't have:
- A good way to connect instruments
- A whiteboard (one can be rolled in)
- Ability to fully cook a meal - ONLY a warming kitchen
Helpful tips:
- Most likely, we will require a walk-through of the room before your event
- To turn on the microphone, hold down the small red button at the bottom. Go to the panel on the wall (to the right of the double doors), and make sure the "Mic Volume" is unmuted (mute button is maroon rather than bright red)
- if needed, batteries for the microphone should be found under the curtained table to the right of the fireplace
- Turn on all the lamps to make it more warm and welcoming
- The projector can be picky. There is a troubleshooting sheet on the ledge with all the technology connections to try and help you figure out what's going on.
- If you cannot get the projector to work after troubleshooting, we have a rolling TV upstairs you can use. If your event is dependent on a presentation and you have a portable projector, we highly recommend bringing it as a backup! We cannot guarantee a staff member will be available to help you or even figure it out if they are available.
Clean up instructions:
- Any plastic tables or chairs that were pulled out need to be put away (if crumbs are visible, please wipe them down first)
- If any chairs were moved around during the event, please put them back where they originally were. Please look at these pictures to make sure it's set back up correctly.
- If you used any serving ware, please either put it in the dishwasher, or clean and put it back where you found it
- Wipe down all tables and countertops (cleaning supplies are above the sinks)
- Take any leftover food and drink with you
- Take all trash out (be sure to check every trash can, including the ones that look like drawers in the kitchen area) to the dumpster in the back of the parking lot. Trash bags can be found in the housekeeping closet in the little hallway connected to the kitchen area
- Turn off all lights, lamps, and technology
- If you used the projector screen, please pull it back up
