MARCH 2026
Ministry Partners
The Lukers: Terrance and Hillary Luker serve in leadership of a local church in northern Italy, and Terrance also serves as VP of Global Operations for the missions sending agency Crossworld. Pray for God’s financial provision as they face significant unexpected tax bills in Italy. Pray they would have strength, peace, and resilience to focus on their work while also trying to financially provide for their family, and specifically their son, Thomas, as he heads to college. Pray for Terrance to effectively support the field staff and lead the International Directors. Pray for Hillary to balance studies, ministry, relationships, and travel.
Hilltop Adventures: Through trips in western North Carolina, participants are equipped and trained for relational discipleship back in their home church contexts. Pray for upcoming trips this spring and summer to catalyze people’s desire to make disciples. Pray for participants to be challenged both physically and spiritually so they learn to depend on the Lord more and for strengthened community among all attendees.
Marley Knittle: Marley is bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to University students in New Zealand through Campus Outreach. Pray for the students who went with Marley to Thailand on a mission trip to continue growing in their passion for world missions and faith in Jesus. Pray for the students she is pouring into, that they would come to have faith in Jesus and be zealous for the gospel. Pray for Marley to have endurance in ministry and to continue to build community.
Houston Welcomes Refugees: Mobilizing our city to welcome refugees with compassion, hope, and honor as they resettle and start a new life in Houston. Pray for the refugee families here in Houston to experience the love of Christ through volunteers with HWR. Pray that lasting relationships would be developed, and that these families would come to know the hope they have in Jesus despite their circumstances.
WITHIN THE CHURCH
Grill Off: March 28. Pray this would be a fun event for small groups to spend time together, and that non-believers would feel welcome and drawn to the church community. Pray for great weather and the GBC Events Team.
AS SCRIPTURE TEACHES US TO PRAY
“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me” (Ps. 51:10). Father, against you we have sinned. Give us a right spirit that acknowledges our greatest need of rescue from sin, your sufficient grace to forgive us, and the amazing gift of a right relationship with you because of the work of Jesus on the cross.
